Frequently Asked Questions

ThinkLikeLaw is an AI-powered legal education platform designed specifically for UK law students studying the LLB, GDL, and SQE. We provide tools for case briefing, lecture note analysis, flashcard revision, issue spotting, essay marking, and podcast-style audio learning — all tailored to UK legal curricula.
No. ThinkLikeLaw is strictly an educational tool. Our AI features are designed to help you study and understand legal concepts. They do not constitute legal advice, legal opinion, or legal representation. Always consult a qualified solicitor or barrister for actual legal matters. See our Terms and Conditions (clause 3.2) for full details.
We offer three tiers:
• Scholar (Free): 2 module previews, daily news brief, 1,000 AI credits/month
• Monthly Brief (£8.99/mo): Full access, 10,000 AI credits/month
• Annual Brief (£80.00/yr): Full access, 10,000 AI credits/month, save over 25%

All prices include VAT where applicable. You can cancel anytime.
AI Credits are consumed each time you use an AI-powered feature (e.g., Interpret AI, Issue Spotter, Essay Marking). Different features use different amounts of credits based on their complexity. Free users receive 1,000 credits per month, and paid subscribers receive 10,000 credits per month. Credits reset at the start of each monthly billing cycle and do not roll over.
Yes, you can cancel anytime through the Stripe Customer Portal (accessible from your account settings). Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free (Scholar) tier. Under UK consumer law, you have a 14-day cooling-off period for first-time subscriptions.
ThinkLikeLaw is designed as a study aid. You should always check your university's academic integrity policies regarding the use of AI tools. Submitting AI-generated content as your own original work may violate your institution's rules. We strongly recommend using our tools for research, understanding, and revision — not for producing submitted coursework directly.
We comply with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and PECR. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not sell your personal data. You have full rights to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
On the login page, click "Forgot Password?" to receive a password reset link via email. If you signed up using Google OAuth, you can log in directly with your Google account — no password is needed. If you're still having trouble, contact us at support@thinklikelaw.com.
To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at support@thinklikelaw.com. Under UK GDPR, you have the right to erasure (Article 17). We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion. See our Privacy Policy for data retention details.
ThinkLikeLaw is designed for UK law students across all universities. Our content is aligned with standard UK legal curricula (LLB, GDL, SQE). While we don't offer university-specific content yet, our tools work with any English law module. During signup, you can select your university to help us personalise your experience.
